What do women really want?

Men like to believe that they have their woman where they want her. They tend to take their woman for granted once they have won her. They think that women are as uncomplicated as they are, and try and treat them the way they would like to be treated. This is when you have lost your woman.
Women have needs which are very different from men. You need to understand that first, and then keeping your woman happy will not be so difficult at all.
Women do not like to say everything. They want you to read between the lines and try and go a step further. If a man says he does not want something he means just that. Catch a woman say that, and she wants you to ask her just a few more times before she says yes reluctantly. She could kill to have it deep inside her.
Women want to talk. They can never get enough of it. Talk to your woman, and show her you really are interested in what she has to say. Women like to be heard, and want to know their opinion matters. No one wants to be just a trophy girlfriend or wife anymore. Give her that respect.
Women just never need space. They want to share every second, every inch of space with their man. They can never have enough of being held, caressed and pampered. Even if it is killing you, and you can not wait to turn the other way, spend a few minutes holding your girl till she drifts off to bed. You are sure to come away a winner.
Women love surprises. They want to see the unexpected. They love things being sprung on them. Go that extra mile and make the effort to do something special for your woman. She will feel wanted and loved.
So, Buckle up, and brace yourself to take on woman in new ways. Show her you can be the man she is looking for, and she is yours for keeps.

So Tired

It seems each day I wake up I try to think positive.... but it never fails that I am reminded of how things are not as I wish they were. I am SO tired of feeling depressed. I ignore the good things, advances, and even gestures from others because I am so wrapped up in my consuming past pains.  I used to be so strong, but now I can NOT stop the tears from flowing. It's amazing how I let myself get so attached to anything or anyone in my life when I know that at anytime anyone I love could leave or just not be around anymore. I thought that telling people how you truly feel and being honest are the only TRUE way to having a HAPPY full life, but to what purpose now ......... when I know that someday.. they would eventually choose to walk away. I am trying really hard not to become angry and  bitter. But I am tired of feeling like I am always the one being hurt. I am tired of crying alone and feeling sorry for myself.

I know I deserve all the things my heart desires -----but how & when?
When and how do I get to be really happy?

Eat, Pray, Love

Eat, Pray, Love
One Woman's Search for Everything Across Italy, India and Indonesia. Written by Elizabeth Gilbert, the book is a memoir chronicling the soul-searching time she spent traveling in Rome, India and Bali after she realizes her life needs a new direction. Many women found her story inspiring, but some found it impractical.
I just watched the movie last night and most likely, though you’re familiar with Liz’s story, so I don’t want to spend time writing a standard “movie review.” I found the movie very entertaining, a good example of how out-of-touch with reality some people can be. Liz ( played by Julia Roberts ) was able to leave her entire life behind, to get away after a difficult and painful divorce (which she initiated) to heal and get perspective on life. Basically it's a story about taking chances and following your heart.

I read a lot of bad reviews about the book and the film as well. Honestly, I never understood exactly what drove her to leave her marriage but as stated she feels unfulfilled and was not happy anymore but that's life!, everyone at one time or another has been completely frustrated or disappointed with their life's direction, and felt the need for a change.

Practically no one has the resources (be it time, money, or support) to just pack up and leave everything behind. I guess people nowadays especially women  has commitments, obligations and bills to pay. But I believe, Gilbert was not suggesting for a moment that we should all travel the globe in pursuit of happiness. She then understands that she was privileged to be able to do so. The idea is that we all might want to consider a little more depth in our lives and a whole lot more mindfulness.

The part that I loved most was in India, when she met the most wonderful character that I especially loved Richard from Texas, a bit crass but down to earth man. He is so fully in tune with himself and has accepted who he is so completely, he makes every moment feel authentic. He kind of makes you want to see a movie about his character instead. I just admire him so much. And he makes me laugh too. He taught LIZ how to forgive herself from all the mistakes she did especially the failed marriage she had and that is exactly the message of this film/book. To forgive. Forgive yourself and do it now! then let it go. She finally was able to come to terms with herself and to let go of the worry and the pain that had consumed her. I also admire her for being a flawed but honest person.

Mistakes happen, but that’s it. They happen, and you move on. You learn from it. But you can’t get back to who you really are unless you accept what happened and forgive yourself – at that point, you can get back to being comfortable and even happy with who you are. And it’s when that happens that your inner beauty shines through, you see and speak through your heart, and you won’t have to change a thing about yourself in order to love and be loved.

This book/film does inspire you to reach beyond yourself in order to see the better, more complete you.

Go GAGA with HANDBAGS!!!

The It-Bag (as they call it)  is the ultimate 21st- century object of desire, not just for supermodels and celebutantes, but for working women from all walks of life.  These days women are more prepared to spend on a handbag particularly ones with BIG fancy brand names like Chanel, Coach, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Prada and Hermes. They shop for fashion bags as frequently as they eat, worry about the delay of the new arrivals and so on.

But why do we find bags so desirable? It's partly because they've become a unique outward statement of a woman's status, fashion savvy and earning power - and the rising popularity of handbags over the past 100 years has followed the increasing social independence of their owners.

Based on an Article in U.K. Two hundred years ago, a woman's role was largely domestic and she would keep her belongings in a purse tucked into the folds of her clothes.

But as women started leaving the home, both for leisure and work, bags became a useful way of carrying their possessions.

These days most women's bag contains survival kit for daily life in the urban jungle - from mobile phone, tampons, make-up, money and keys, to hair straighteners, laptops, Blackberries, chewing gum, condoms or a change of clothes.

As a result, its mystique remains intact: many men find the complexities of what women carry in a handbag thrillingly obscure and would never dare to invade its privacy.

Most women would feel naked without their handbags. And, as clothes become ever more streamlined and minimalist, it is in your choice of bag that you can make sure you stand out from the crowd.

But with so many designer bags vying for our attention, what does it take to lift a handbag to authentic 'It' status?

The most obvious attribute is a striking design. An It-Bag needs to be instantly recognizable. Another vital element for an It-Bag, of course, is glamour. Often this comes from the magical association between a brand and a celebrity - such as the famous Hermes Kelly bag.

Clever marketing inevitably also plays a vital role in creating a must-have. While Kate Moss  ( who modeled Longchamp Paris ) may always be able to get her hands on the latest luxury bag, for the woman in the street it's much more of a challenge, regardless of money.

Women's natural competitiveness is, of course, cleverly managed by the top bag designers.

Recently, longchamp le pliage bags began to receive recognition and praise due to their line of leather covered pipes.  The gorgeous bags were a hit and were the catalyst for Longchamp’s growth through all of Asia and most of the world today. Longchamp’s most popular line is the Le Pliage collection. There are several reasons for its popularity among both teenagers and adults. Also, the price point is very reasonable considering the craftsmanship and allure of the Longchamp brand. It’s great to be able to own a quality bag that is both beautiful and practical.

Well, I just got my new LONGCHAMP's seasonal edition for 2010 Coup de Pinceau, (not the Le Pliage collection) but definitely you'll love it's simple yet elegant style. This bag is made of a lightweight durable printed canvas, perfect for daily outingsLongchamp bags really do have such tremendous ideas when it comes to designs.

What is Loneliness?

In its most severe form, loneliness can drive a person to real panic and even to insanity or suicide. In its milder form. loneliness can be felt as nothing more than the vague feeling of being unloved and unwanted, the feeling of not belonging.

Loneliness, in spite of the terrible feelings that comes with it, is still a gift from God. At worst, it is the price we human beings pay for our capacity to think, to reflect, to be aware of our own uniqueness and limitations. At best, loneliness is the other side of our capacity to give and receive love.

Whenever i feel lonely, I try not to ask why anymore, for I know it is part of my being human. I ask, instead, what I may have done to make myself feel isolated, walled-in and alienated from the others. In fact, loneliness comes during those moments of isolation, when around me I have built an invisible wall , perhaps after i have been hurt by others . The same wall protects me from getting hurt again, but, unfortunately, it also imprisons me.

It is said by some that loneliness is a part of our being human because, they say, we are relational by nature. which means that each of us is not  meant to remain an "I" forever, it urges us to find the "you" reach out, and, together form a "We". Loneliness disappears as soon as we find a "We-ness" with others.

When you let the negative emotion of loneliness go, it will undoubtedly free up your hidden motivations to go out and meet new people.
I think loneliness is a terrible thing to go through, but a necessary thing at times because you can really learn a lot about yourself and come out a stronger person.

Remember:  "you are never truly alone except in your mind."
